With Kamal Haasan completely recovered from COVID-19, he is said to continue his work schedule from December 4. The actor is now working on the project titled ‘Vikram’ along with Vijay Sethupathi and Fahad Faasil, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The movie reportedly will be making it to theatres worldwide on April 1, 2022.

Meanwhile, ‘Yaanai’ directed by Hari starring Arun Vijay and Priya Bhavani Shankar is also expected to be released on April 1 clashing with Kamal’s ‘Vikram’. Previously, ‘Yaanai’ was set to be released in February 2022, but it has now been delayed.

‘Yaanai’s first look poster was launched on a large scale by 33 different celebrities including Arya and Keerthy Suresh denoting the 33rd film project done by Arun Vijay. It was named as ‘AV 33’ first and was then renamed to ‘Yaanai’. Though speculations say that the release date will be in April, an official statement from the film crew is yet to be out.

However, there might be a delay in Vikram’s release, as Kamal Haasan’s schedule for the shooting changed on account of him testing positive for COVID. As a result of the delay, the movie might not be released on the set day.
