Washington to counter China is seeking closer ties with Delhi . On Thursday a senior Pentagon official said that India and United States will co-develop drones . Exporting is possible to our partners across the region. India can send to South and South East Asia at affordable price points. The possibility of developing drones launched from airplanes and anti – drone defense systems was cited by Ratner. The opportunities to co-produce major capabilities in the near and medium term is being considered by Pentagon. “We’re having good conversations with our counterparts in the Indian government at the highest levels about our respective priorities in that regard, and we hope to have more to announce on this front before too long,” Ratner said.
