  • Mi 11X is selling with a discount of Rs 2,000 on Amazon.
  • You can get bank offer on top of this.
  • It makes Mi 11X more affordable than Poco F3 GT and OnePlus Nord 2.

If you are in the market for an affordable premium smartphone, then the Mi 11X should have your attention, especially during the Amazon Prime Day sale. The Mi 11X price for the base variant was set at Rs 29,999 at the time of launch. This was almost Rs 10,000 less than the OnePlus 9R which comes with the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. Now, during the Amazon Prime Day sale, the Mi 11X is selling for even less. In fact, it can be grabbed for less than recently launched mid-premium smartphones like OnePlus Nord 2 and Poco F3 GT.

Both the variants of Mi 11X are now available with a discount of Rs 2,000 each. The base variant of Mi 11X with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant is now available at Rs 27,999 instead of the initial price of Rs 29,999 while the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant of the phone is now selling at Rs 29,999 against the launch price of Rs 31,999.

On top of it, you can get 10 per cent discount if the purchase is made using the HDFC Bank cards. The maximum discount under this offer is Rs 1,750. Both the deals combined bring the cost of base variant down to 26,249 which is less than the base variants of OnePlus Nord 2 (Rs 27,999) and Poco F3 GT (Rs 26,999).

Is it a better buy though? We will talk about it but, first let’s have a look at the specifications on offer.

The Mi 11X features a 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch response. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC and runs Android 11-based MIUI 12 out of the box. The internal storage on phone can be expanded using a microSD card.

The smartphone has a triple rear camera setup which includes a 48-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera and a 5-megapixel macro lens. There is also a 20-megapixel selfie camera on the front.

The phone is equipped with stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, High-Res audio, and IP53 for dust and water resistance. It packs a 4,520mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support.

Is Mi 11X at Amazon Prime Day Sale a better deal than OnePlus Nord 2, Poco F3 GT?

The Mi 11X might have been positioned as an affordable premium phone but, it is more of a value for money proposition which is closer to the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max than the Mi 11X Pro. Xiaomi has kept the thickness to just 7.8mm while the weight is also 196 grams. The phone comes with a glass back but doesn’t feel too premium. In fact, the Poco F3 GT stands out among all three devices we are talking about with its design. Again, that design is not for everyone.

The Mi 11X gets a major advantage over OnePlus Nord and Poco F3 GT with its display. Xiaomi has used E4 material on the Mi 11X which can reduce power consumption and increase the battery life. It has also added Adaptive Colour Display here which adjusts the color temperature of the screen to the color temperature of the ambient light. This can help reduce eye strain.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 SoC delivers far better performance than the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset used on both Poco F3 GT and OnePlus Nord 2. However, if you are into gaming, the Poco F3 GT is an obvious choice because of the maglev triggers. Software-wise the OnePlus Nord 2 delivers a superior experience with its OxygenOS over the other two devices.

I wasn’t really impressed with the camera performance of Mi 11X. It’s good for casual photography but often disappointed with details, sharpness and dynamic range. The colours look vibrant but overall the performance isn’t that great.

In conclusion, I will say that the Mi 11X is a very option at Rs 26,249 if you are in the market for an all-rounder with something to offer on every front. If photography is the priority, go with the OnePlus Nord 2 and if you are a gaming enthusiast, the Poco F3 GT is a great buy.
