On Monday, while gold was trading on the higher side of the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver witnessed a new low.
Recording a hike of Rs 45 or 0.09 per cent, gold futures, maturing on December 5, 2022, stood at Rs 50,862 per 10 grams on the MCX.
Meanwhile, silver futures, maturing on December 5, 2022, witnessed a jump of Rs 264 or 0.44 percent and were retailing at Rs 60, 244 per kg on the MCX.

Notably, the prices of gold and silver stood at Rs 50,866 per 10 grams and Rs 60,538 per kg respectively when the market closed on November 4.
