Aamir Khan and his team shot for his upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha in Wakha village of Ladakh. The actor got a warm welcome from the people of Wakha. Aamir and Kiran were seen dressed in traditional Ladakhi attire. They even performed the folk dance of Ladakh along with the locals.

Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao, who recently announced their divorce, can be seen dancing together in the pictures and videos from Wakha. They can be seen wearing traditional Ladakhi dresses called Koss and Sulma, while performing the popular Ladakhi dance Gomba Sumshak.

AKP ISSUES STATEMENT ON LADAKH LITTER ROW

After the Laal Singh Chaddha team wrapped up the shoot in Ladakh, some Twitter users accused them of littering in the valley. Aamir Khan Productions (AKP) shared a strong statement refuting all the rumours claiming that Laal Singh Chaddha’s cast and crew left Ladakh littered. The statement clarified that the production house has a separate team that ensures that the shooting location is left litter-free and that they double-check every location before leaving it.

AAMIR KHAN AND KIRAN RAO ANNOUNCE DIVORCE AFTER 15 YEARS

Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao issued a joint statement on July 3, to announce their divorce after 15 years of marriage. Describing their divorce not as an end, but as the start of a new journey, they said that they will remain devoted parents to their son, Azad. They also said that they will continue working on projects together.

Laal Singh Chaddha is the Hindi remake of the Hollywood blockbuster Forrest Gump. The film starred Tom Hanks in the lead role. Forrest Gump released in 1994.
