Thalapathy Vijay has achieved a phenomenal market value not just in Tamil Nadu but across South India. The first look announcement of his next film with Nelson Dilipkumar has caught the attention of his hardcore fans on social media.

While fans are still basking in the success of Thalapathy Vijay and Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi-starrer, Master, the recent update on Thalapathy 65 is sure to tune up their excitement level.  

Tentatively titled Thalapathy 65, the makers have sketched the character of Vijay in a way that the actor has not played in his previous 64 films. As we had reported earlier, Vijay will be seen essaying the role of an agent in the action entertainer that will have music by Anirudh Ravichander.  

Meanwhile, fans of Vijay have begun celebrating the actor’s birthday in advance with classy birthday posters. Vijay turns 47 on 22 June 2021.

In a nutshell, we can say, it’s going to be Vijay as a con agent in Thalapathy 65,” a source was quoted as saying by Pinkvilla. 

“The exact character sketch and evolution about the element of being an agent and a con man will be known once the film goes on floors this summer. The above mentioned two aspects (con and agent) is what made the character fascinating for Vijay and got him on board. It’s a tailormade role for him,” the source added further. 

The shooting of Thalapathy 65, produced by Kalanithi Maaran under Sun Pictures, was completed in Georgia earlier. The crew has erected a shopping mall set in Chennai to resume further portions of the film.

The first look poster of Thalapathy 65 will be released at 5.30 PM today on social media. Interestingly, Nelson Dhilipkumar turns 37 today.  The film has been scheduled to release on the occasion of Pongal 2022.
