Haryana Class 11, 12 students would be given tablets by the government to fulfill their requirement on studies. The government plans to distribute five lakh tablets worth Rs. 560 crores. Check details shared below.

Haryana Class 11, 12 students will get tablets soon for studies. The distribution process across the state would begin soon, as confirmed by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on November 23, 2021. A total of five lakh tablets worth Rs. 560 crores would be distributed among students for the upcoming academic session.

The distribution of tablets to the students of other classes is also in the pipeline by the State Government. The main motive towards the distribution of tablets is to promote online education in Haryana. There were various other projects discussed during the press conference held yesterday. A total of 15,000 tube well connections and power equipment worth Rs 350 crores are other projects initiated by the state government.

The decision was taken in a high-level meeting chaired by the CM Manohar Lal Khattar. Other ministers who were present during this meeting were Education Minister Kanwar Pal, Transport Minister Mool Chand Sharma, Power Minister Ranjit Singh Chautala, and Agriculture Minister J P Dalal. During this meeting, the Chief Minister mentioned that if anyone gets any information related to corruption in jobs or the education department, they should immediately inform the State Vigilance Bureau.

Earlier, the state government had decided to distribute over 14,000 tablets at all state-run schools across 22 districts. These tablets will be equipped with a mobile device management system. It will also have an internet facility. However, as per reviews shared by teachers, various other measures need to be taken to improve the education system in the state. One of the measures is the recruitment of more teachers to manage the workload.
