Kalaignar health condition: V-P Venkaiah Naidu meet Stalin

Vice President Venkaiah Naidu also met the veteran politician’s son MK Stalin at the Chennai hospital on Sunday afternoon. Earlier, Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit and senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad also visited the DMK president at Kauvery hospital.

M Karunanidhi was rushed to the hospital from his Gopalapuram residence in Chennai late on Friday night, at 1:30 am, after his blood pressure had dropped. He had been undergoing treatment for a week at his residence following a “slight decline” in his health.

Karunanidhi, who completed 50 years as the DMK President on July 27, 2018, has been out of active politics since 2016 due to his deteriorating health.
