The Mumbai NCB is also investigating a Naxal angle in the drug mafia case in the state.

“It is too early to comment on our findings as a probe is underway,” said an NCB source. An NCB team is also investigating the Naxal angle in Andhra Pradesh with the help of other agencies.

Although two persons were arrested by NCB during the first raid in Nanded when over 1,000kg of Ganja was seized, the mastermind — Anil Taklu — managed to evade the law enforcement agencies. Search for the alleged mastermind and his associates is still on, said an officer.
