Ishwari Deshpande, who has worked in a Marathi and a Hindi film, reportedly died in a car accident in Goa on Monday, September 21. The 25-year-old actress was travelling with her friend Shubham Dadge who also died on the spot. According to media reports, the accident took place near Arpora or Hadfade village in Bardez taluka when Ishwari’s car plunged into Baga Creek at around 5:30 am.

The reports also suggest that the deceased couldn’t get out of the car as it was centrally locked. Ishwari and her friend passed away due to drowning.

Ishwari Deshpande was travelling with her friend Shubham Dadge when their car met with an accident near Arpora or Hadfade village in the Bardez taluka in Goa. The car drowned in Baga Creek and the two died. As per Etimes, Ishwari and Shubham were about to get engaged next month. They had come to Goa on Wednesday, September 15. As per reports, the actress has featured in a Marathi and Hindi film, both of which have not been released yet.

PRIMARY INVESTIGATION SUGGESTS MISHAP TOOK PLACE AS DRIVER LOST CONTROL

Goa Police officials say that the accident happened after the driver lost control. Shubham Dadge was driving the car. Inspector Suraj Gawas, in-charge of Anjuna Police Station, told indianexpress.com, “Primary investigation suggests that the mishap took place because the driver lost control of the car. After losing control, the car crossed over to the opposite corridor and again crossed over back before falling into a small creek. The fire brigade was called around 7 am. They managed to take out the car and the dead bodies of the two.”

Ishwari was set to make her Marathi film debut with Sunil Chauthmal’s Premache Side Effects.
