Strike continued for opening Fire plants

Sivakasi: Traders are engaged in barber strike in Sivakasi to insist on opening fireworks plants. In the amendments, all shops are locked in one day symbolic struggle. Tube and print industry companies have supported the shutdown.

The closure of 1,076 fireworks factories in Sivakasi area, owners and employees are conducting an indefinite strike on 42th day.

About 8 lakh people gets work through these plants. The Supreme Court ruled in a judgment last month that the environmental damage was caused by firecrackers.
