Silambarasan’s ‘Maanaadu’ with Venkat Prabhu was announced to be released for Diwali this year. However, the producer has decided to step out from the Diwali release considering the film’s business because of Rajinikanth’s ‘Annaatthe’ and ‘Enemy’ which are scheduled to hit the screens at the same time.
The producer had also clearly explained the reason for the pushed dates with a press release. But it seems the decision is not gone down well with Silambarasan’s parents T Rajendar and Usha Rajendar as they are now blaming the producer council for their action against the actor. They have mocked the producer council for bringing back the ‘AAA’ issue and troubling the release of Silambarasan’s ‘Maanaadu’. They have also planned to go for a strike in front of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin’s house to stop action against Silambarasan.

This raised several speculations for the film’s postponement, and it has worried the fans. Meanwhile, ‘Maanaadu’ producer Suresh Kamatchi has clarified in an interview with a portal that ‘Maanaadu’ is not a copy of any other language films and fans should not decide the film based on the trailer. ‘Maanaadu’ is also planned to be dubbed in English, and it’s going to be the biggest release for Simbu.

‘Maanaadu’ features Silambarasan and Kalyani Priyadarshan in lead roles with several popular actors in supporting roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored the music, and the film produced by Suresh Kamatchi’s V House Production is rescheduled to release on November 25th.
