Barmy Army’s Awards goes to Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli was presented with the International Cricket of the Year for 2017 and 2018 by England’s Barmy Army after the conclusion of the first day of India’s tour match against Essex on Wednesday.

BCCI took to Twitter to share a picture of Virat Kohli with both the trophies in his hand. He received the trophies for 2017 and 2018 at one go even as the Barmy Army had announced Kohli as their 2017 International Cricket of the Year.

Last year, England’s fan army had shared a video of Kohli thanking them for the honour and this year, he was physically presented with the awards.
