Megastar Chiranjeevi is thrilled about his next film, which is the official Telugu remake of the Malayalam flick, Lucifer. The shooting of Lucifer Telugu remake commenced today (August 13) in Hyderabad with director Mohan Raja. The filmmaker took to social media to share a photo with the technical crew. Mohanlal’s Lucifer marked the directorial debut venture of Prithviraj Sukumaran.

CHIRANJEEVI’S LUCIFER REMAKE GOES ON FLOORS

Megastar Chiranjeevi recently wrapped up the shooting of his upcoming film, Acharya, directed by Koratala Siva. The film was slated to hit the theatres on May 13 but has now been postponed indefinitely due to the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.

After Acharya, Chiranjeevi has now started shooting for his upcoming film, which is the Telugu remake of Lucifer. Director Mohan Raja took to Twitter to share a photo with the technical crew and wrote, “With the blessings of parents and well wishers starting next journey, this time a Mega one. Getting set with an amazing team Dop #Niravshah, Art dir @sureshsrajan, Stunt @silvastunt #Chiru153 #megastar153 #shootstarts (sic).”

THAMAN STARTS COMPOSING FOR LUCIFER REMAKE

After Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata, Thaman has started composing for Chiranjeevi’s Lucifer Telugu remake. He shared a photo with the Megastar and director Mohan Raja and announced that he has completed the first song of the album.

Sharing the photo, Thaman wrote, “A day to Remember for life. We Completed Our Song for #Chiru153 that warm wishes from our dear #MEGASTAR @KChiruTweets gaaru himself. Very Very Special to me. As a biggest FAN boy, thanks to @jayam_mohanraja. Shoot starts TOM @KonidelaPro. Godbless (sic).”

Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Lucifer starred Mohanlal, Manju Warrier and Vivek Oberoi in lead roles. Prithviraj also played a cameo in the film.
