Cryptocurrency prices rose on Tuesday after marginal consolidation over the past 24 hours. At the moment, the overall virtual coin market is holding on to crucial support levels.

Bitcoin, the world’s largest cryptocurrency, witnessed minor consolidation over the past 24 hours and was trading flat. Bitcoin’s value was at $62,872 or 0.03 per cent higher than its price 24 hours ago at 1:45 pm.

The market capitalisation fell marginally to $1.19 trillion and the trading volume over the past 24 hours stood at $1.12 billion.

Ether, the largest altcoin, was trading 1 per cent higher than its value 24 hours ago at $4,219.95. Its market capitalisation increased to $496 billion and the 24-hour trading volume stood at $895.83 million.

All other prominent cryptocurrencies such as Cardano, XRP, Litecoin, Polygon, Uniswap, Solana and Dogecoin were trading positively despite the minor consolidation.

Despite the consolidation observed over the past 24 hours, the overall cryptocurrency market continues to trade with a positive bias and analysts remain optimistic about the future of virtual coins after the fresh rally observed over the past few days.

Commenting on the cryptocurrency market momentum, Edul Patel, CEO and Co-founder of Mudrex, a global algorithm-based crypto investment platform, said, “Over the past 24 hours, we saw a minor consolidation across the crypto spectrum.”

“The total cryptocurrency market hovering above the $2.6 trillion mark is a positive sign. Even after the new all-time highs, the cryptocurrency market has managed to hold the crucial levels so far,” he added.
