Motorola has been on a launching spree. After unveiling the Moto Watch 100, Motorola has now launched the Moto G Power (2022). The smartphone is the successor to Moto G Power launched in 2021. Motorola has announced the smartphone but revealed that the Moto G Power will not go on sale anytime soon. The company revealed that the device won’t ship until next year.

Moto G Power features a capsule-shaped camera module that houses three large sensors. The display has thin bezels around the corners, but the chin is visibly thick. The display also has a cutout for a punch-hole camera. There is an M logo at the rear panel, which doubles up as a fingerprint sensor.

Moto G Power: Price and availability

Moto G Power has been launched in the US at a price tag of $199 (roughly Rs 14,000) for the 4GB+64GB variant. The smartphone also has another variant that comes with 4GB RAM and a 128GB variant that comes with a price tag of $249. The smartphone has been offered in a single Dark Grove colour variant. Motorola has not announced whether the smartphone will be launched in other countries including India or not.

Moto G Power: Specifications

Moto G Power (2022) features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The display comes with a high refresh rate of 90Hz. The display also has a punch hole cutout on the front for the selfie camera. The smartphone is powered with is a MediaTek Helio G37 processor paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, the storage can further be expanded using a microSD card. It is a major upgrade over its predecessor that only came with 3GB RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 11 out of the box.

In terms of camera, the Moto G Power 2022 features a triple camera setup which includes a 50-megapixel primary camera with a 2MP macro shooter and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The smartphone houses a 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W fast charging.
