Video lessons being used to train teachers in TN on the new syllabuses

It is known that the syllabuses for classes 1, 6, 9 and 11 are new. To get better understanding of the new syllabuses of the above mentioned classes the teachers are now trained through video lessons.

This training is imparted by those teachers who were coached in the previous phase. In the next step this process would be making its presence felt at the school levels also.

According to G. Arivoli, who is SCERT director, 82,460 primary teachers, 15,073 middle school teachers plus 74,420 high school teachers and 36,562 higher secondary teachers from both government and government aided schools received training.
