Model, actress and beauty pageant winner Sahithya Jagannathan, who is married to Cary Edwards, has been blessed with a fraternal twins. She took to social media to reveal that they became parents on June 1 to twin babies, a boy and a girl. Both the babies in good health and so is the mother.

“On the 1st of June @cary_edwards & I became proud parents to twin babies..My baby boy, girl & I are all in good health..Thank you for your love, support and kindness(so many of you sent me food for my cravings) through my pregnancy. So many mommas gave me such helpful tips and continue to do so”, read her post.

Sahithya Jagannathan is a VJ, model, sports news anchor, and actor. She has also balanced modelling commitments with a degree in journalism. She made her acting debut in Gautham Menon’s bilingual film Neethane En Ponvasantham, wherein she played the role of Samantha Akkineni’s best friend. She was also part of the team that covered the India-Australia Cricket Series for Star Sports Tamil in 2017.

The 31-year old has acted as one of the lead characters in Parthiban’s Kathai Thiraikathai Vasanam Iyakkam. The film had Santhosh Prathap,Akhila Kishore and Thambi Ramaiah. Aishwarya Rajesh, Prakash Raj, Raghava Lawrence, Vijay Sethupathi, Arya and many others appearances in guest roles.

On the work front, Sahithya was last seen as a commentator in Thalapathy Vijay-starrer Bigil. The sports-action film written and directed by Atlee and was produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram under the banner AGS Entertainment. The film stars Vijay in dual lead roles as Michael, a mobster and former footballer and Rayappan.
