The world of glitz and glamour, it won’t be wrong to say that Bollywood runs on controversies, rumours and of course, gossip. When we talk about rumours in particular, sometimes they are so strange, absurd as well as hard to believe. Whether true or not, we’d be lying if we say Bollywood celebs are subject to some of the worst rumours in the past.

Aamir Khan’s alleged love child with British journalist

It has been reported in the past that the Lagaan actor has a love child with a British journalist named Jessica Hines. While Aamir tied the knot with Kiran Rao in 2005, he apparently met Jessica in the same year. Jessica is best known for her book Looking for the Big B: Bollywood, Bachchan and Me by Jessica Hines.

As per reports, the two were in a live-in relationship for some time but things turned serious after she got pregnant. Aamir, who was not looking for a serious relationship then, allegedly asked her to abort the child. Jessica did not and she now has a son named Jaan. 

During an interview with Stardust magazine, Jessica did not claim that the uncanny similarity between Aamir and Jaan, makes it evident that he is Aamir’s son.

Karan Johar’s apparent love affair with Sidharth Malhotra

Karan who gave break to Sidharth Malhotra in his film Student of the Year, was said to be romantically involved with him. They were said to be together for two years. Delhi-based Sidharth came to Mumbai as a model but soon applied for the job of an assistant director in KJo’s Dharma Productions before landing his first acting stint.

Ayushmann Khurrana’s death report

When asked what’s the most bizarre rumours he’d ever heard of himself, the Vicky Donor actor stated he once came across his death report online. While shooting for Bewakoofiyaan in 2013, Ayushmann read a news report that mentioned he had died following a skiing incident in Switzerland. While he took the rumours sportingly, his near and dear ones were certainly not amused. 

Alia Bhatt is Mahesh Bhatt and Pooja Bhatt’s daughter

Both bizarre and absurd, Alia herself talked about the then-ongoing rumours of her being the biological child of Mahesh Bhatt and Pooja Bhatt. For those living under the rock, Alia and Pooja are stepsisters! 

Aditi Rao Hyderi related to Audrey Hepburn?

While there is no denying Aditi is one of the most beautiful actresses in Bollywood, she often gets compared to the late Audrey Hepburn. There were also rumours that she is the descendent of Audrey which is not true at all! Interestingly, Aditi belongs to two royal lineages, that of Sir Muhammad Saleh Akbar Hydari and Raja J. Rameshwar Rao of erstwhile Raja of Wanaparthy family.
