Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Cell, MHT CET Merit List 2021 for round 1 counselling would be released today, on November 24, 2021, by the State Common Entrance Test Cell. Students can submit their grievances against the provisional merit list from November 25 to 27, 2021. Once released, students would be able to download it from the official website of Maharashtra CET, cetcell.mahacet.org.

The State CET cell witnessed a tremendous rise in the number of engineering applications, especially for the branches such as artificial intelligence and data science. The numbers of registration have gone up by 15% compared to 96,337 applications last year. The final MHT CET Merit List 2021 and provisional category wise seats will be displayed on November 28, 2021.

The total number of registrations for engineering courses stands at 1.1 lakh this year. On the contrary, the vacancies in mechanical, civil and electrical engineering courses increased to 40% compared to previous years.
