Suriya and Jyotika will produce actor Karthi’s Viruman, directed by Muthaiah, under their home banner, 2D Entertainment. The family entertainer will mark director Shankar’s daughter Aditi’s acting debut. Suriya released Aditi’s look from the film and extended a warm welcome to her in the Tamil film industry. Director Shankar took to Twitter to thank Suriya and Jyotika for giving Aditi the opportunity.

SURIYA AND JYOTIKA TO PRODUCE KARTHI’S NEXT

Karthi took to Twitter to reveal that he plays the role of Vandhiyathevan in director Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan. The actor is on the verge of completing the film. Once he wraps up Ponniyin Selvan, he will move on to his upcoming film with director Muthaiah.

On September 5, Suriya took to Twitter to reveal that he and his wife Jyotika will produce Karthi’s Viruman. He shared the title look of the film and wrote, “Excited to present our next with my @Karthi_Offl a beautiful family entertainer directed by @dir_muthaiya #Viruman @thisisysr @prakashraaj #Rajkiran @AditiShankarofl @sooriofficial @rajsekarpandian @selvakumarskdop @ActionAnlarasu @jacki_art @U1Records In cinemas 2022! SURIYA WELCOMES SHANKAR’S DAUGHTER ADITI

Director Shankar’s daughter Aditi will play the female lead in the film. Viruman is a rural entertainer. Prakash Raj, Raj Kiran and Soori have been roped in to play important roles in the film. Viruman will go on floors in Theni, Tamil Nadu, on September 18.

Sharing Aidti’s photo, Suriya wrote, “A very warm welcome to Aditi Shankar! You are going to win everyone’s heart! God bless!! (sic).”

Director Shankar thanked Suriya and Jyotika for giving Aditi the opportunity to be part of Viruman. He wrote, “Thanks dear @Suriya_offl & Jyothika for launching @AditiShankarofl @2D_ENTPVTLTD which always delivers quality movies! Thanks to @Karthi_Offl @dir_muthaiya @thisisysr @rajsekarpandian. I believe cinema lovers will shower her with love as she comes fully prepped to make her debut (sic).”

Composer Yuvan Shankar Raja will be scoring the tunes for the film. The technical crew includes cinematographer SK Selvakumar and stunt director Anl Arasu.
