Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming movie ‘Don’ and Vijay Sethupathi’s ‘Kaathuku Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal’ are reported to clash at the box office on the same day in February 2022. Both the movies are expected to be released over the Valentine’s Day weekend.

Directed by Cibi Chakravarthy, ‘Don’ features Sivakarthikeyan, Priyanka Arul Mohan, SJ Suryah, Sivaangi in the lead roles. The music for the film is composed by Anirudh and the film is co-produced by Leica and SK Productions.

‘Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal’ is directed by Vignesh Shivan and has Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Samantha in the lead roles and the music is composed by Anirudh.

It would be the third time for both the actor’s movies to clash at the same time. Earlier in 2013, ‘Ethir Neechal’ and Soothy Kavvum’ was released on the same day and in 2016, ‘Remo’ and ‘Rekka’ were released together. Vijay Sethupathi and Sivakarthikeyan’s release dates are likely to clash for the third time after 6 years.
