On  Sep 29 , a fund raising dinner will be hosted  by  several silicon valley tycoons for Vivek Ramaswamy ,  an Indian-American Republican candidate in the US presidential elections. Teddy Schleifer,an US-based journalist shared an invitation that goes AS “intimate dinner and discussion with special guest Vivek Ramaswamy”. A base price of $50,000 is charged for dinner event to raise nearly $1million for Vivek . In Chamath Palihapitiya’s residence, the whole event will be organised. He is the  investor and CEO of Social Capital . The other hosts include  crypto investors Matt Huang and Katie Haun,  venture capitalist David Sacks and  Brad Gerstner of Altimeter Capital. H-1B visa programme was recently criticised by him. Vivek was born in Ohio to Indian immigrant parents.  His father is an electrical engineer and his mother is a geriatric psychiatrist. Forty years ago his parents had moved to America.
