India Today Gaming, the esports and gaming division of India Today is all set for the prize distribution ceremony of its in-house tournament, ESPL 2021. ESports Premier League (ESPL) is the first franchise-based Free Fire tournament in India.

The company has finally reached the conclusion of the 2.5-month long tournament at the end of Grand Finals last night. The company will reveal the champion team along with the first and second runners-up for ESPL 2021 during the ceremony.

In addition, India Today Gaming will also reveal the Most Valuable Player (MVP) and the Fan Favourite player during the ceremony. As part of the reveal, the company has roped in the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Mr. Manish Sisodia for the prize distribution and felicitation.

During the high-octane event, we saw thousands of teams compete for the top 8 spots fight for the 88 spots going to Level 2. Matches in Level 2 further filtered things down to the top 8 teams. After finalizing these 8 teams, the company assigned 8 city franchises to these teams during ESPL Unplugged.

ESPL marked the first significant attempt on a national scale for India Today Gaming to push esports to the main stream. It signed up Bollywood star Tiger Shroff to promote the tournament along with Infinix Mobile as the presenting sponsor. The list of other sponsors and partners include ITC SunFest Yippee Noodles, PTC Chak De, AajTak, Ishq FM, Disney+ Hotstar, Koode, Booyah, and more. Finally, India Today Gaming will also share some information around its next esports tournament that is set to kick-start in coming months.
