Mohanlal, who began shooting for Bro Daddy in Hyderabad, shared an emotional post on Kargil Vijay Diwas today, July 26. In the Instagram post, the Drishyam actor paid tribute to the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives defending our country. Apart from Mohanlal, several celebs like Rakul Preet Singh, Abhishek Bachchan, Anushka Sharma and Akshay Kumar, among others, have paid their tributes to the war heroes on Kargil Vijay Diwas.

Mohanlal, who was last seen in Drishyam 2, penned an emotional note for our brave soldiers on Kargil Vijay Diwas today (July 26). In the post, he paid homage to the valiant soldiers of the Armed Forces, who sacrificed their lives defending our nation.

Along with a picture of a soldier, he wrote, “On this Kargil Vijay Diwas, let us not only remember our country’s remarkable victory but also pay homage to the valiant soldiers of our Armed Forces who sacrificed their lives in defence of our nation. #kargilvijaydiwas #kargil #armedforces (sic).”

Mohanlal began shooting for Prithviraj Sukumar’s second directorial venture, Bro Daddy in Hyderabad. Touted to be a slice-of-life film, it stars Mohanlal, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Meena, Kaniha and Soubin Shahir in important roles. Mohanlal also has 12th Man with director Jeethu Joseph. The actor-director duo are collaborating for the third time after Drishyam and Drishyam 2.
