Suriya has been continuously hitting the mark with his powerful films and receiving praise from everyone. Suriya will be next seen on big screens in ‘Etharkkum Thunindhavan’, and the makers have announced the release date with a special video. Accordingly, Suriya starrer is not releasing during Pongal, and the Pandiraj directorial is slated to release on Feb 4, 2022.

But the makers have slightly disappointed the fans who wished to see Ajith versus Suriya at the box office during the Pongal 2022. Suriya will be seen in a different kind of character this time, and he will be fighting for women’s safety. ‘Doctor’ actress Priyanka Mohan plays the leading lady, while the film also has several skilled stars in key roles. The film has been shot in locations around Karaikudi, Madurai, Coimbatore, and Chennai, and the shooting has been wrapped up recently. D Imman is scoring the music, and the film is bankrolled by Sun Pictures.
