Poco M4 Pro 5G and a new model of the Poco F3 will be launched during an online event on Wednesday evening. Poco has confirmed the launch of both these smartphones through its social media platforms. The Poco M4 Pro 5G will be the major highlight of the launch event. It will succeed the Poco M3 Pro 5G which was launched earlier this year and in fact, was Poco’s first 5G smartphone in India. For now, both the Poco M4 Pro 5G and Poco F3 will be launched in global markets only. However, the smartphone maker may look to bring them to India at some point in future.

The Poco M4 Pro 5G is tipped to be a rebranded version of the recently introduced Redmi Note 11. At least the leaked design of the phone suggests so. Meanwhile, the Poco F3 was introduced this year in March and a social media teaser confirms that the smartphone maker is bringing the device back in some form. It can either be a new model or a storage variant.

Poco M4 Pro 5G launch: livestream

The Poco M4 Pro 5G will be launched during an online event. The launch event will start at 8pm GMT+8 (5.30pm IST). The Poco F3 variant will also be launched during the same event. Poco M4 Pro 5G and Poco F3: Price (expected)

The pricing of both these smartphones will be known during the official launch event. However, both of them are likely to be mid-range smartphones. The Poco M4 Pro 5G may be priced similar to the Redmi Note 11, which means the base variant can cost around Rs 14,000.

Poco M4 Pro 5G: Features

The Poco M4 Pro 5G is tipped to come in grey and yellow colour variants. There can be other colour variants as well. The rear camera module seems to have a large Poco branding, while the front panel may come with a centrally-aligned hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera. The smartphone may feature a 6.6-inch Full-HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate.

The smartphone might be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The phone is likely to run Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 custom skin out of the box. The phone can pack a 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

Poco F3: Features

The new variant of the Poco F3 may come with improved performance, camera and battery from the earlier variant launched this year. The smartphone maker has given little details about the phone. To recall, the Poco F3 was launched with a 6.67-inch full-HD+ E4 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It packs a Snapdragon 870 SoC under the hood coupled with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.

The smartphone features a triple rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter, and a 5-megapixel tele-macro camera. For selfies, the handset has a 20-megapixel selfie camera. It packs a 4,520mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
