Public holiday for school,clg and gov offices

The former Prime Minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee had been admitted to the Delhi AIIMS hospital due to some severe kidney problem. AIIMS released a report yesterday that his condition was deteriorating.

Vajpayee had served as the nation’s Prime Minister 3 times and he was 93 years old.Following his death, the Tamil Nadu state government has declared a public holiday today (Friday, 17th August) as a condolence. It was further announced that the state government will observe 7-day mourning.

So, all the schools, colleges, and offices will not function today (17th August). This will be observed in Puducherry as well.
