It is known that director Gautham Vasudev Menon and actor Silambarasan TR have reunited again for ‘Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu’, which is being bankrolled by Vels Film International. While the first two schedule of shooting was wrapped up quickly, Silambarasan aka Simbu got buys with the promotions of his recently released hit film ‘Maanaadu’ directed by Venkat Prabhu. Now, the young star has resumed shooting for ‘Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu’ from today.

With the shooting of the film progressing at a brisk pace, the first schedule was shot in Tiruchendur, Tamil Nadu and the team had wrapped up the second schedule earlier in September. Now, the team has moved to Mumbai for the third schedule of shooting for the film, which has veteran actress Radikaa Sarathkumar in a crucial role in the film.

While the female lead is yet to be announced, the team is reportedly in talks with Sandalwood actress Kayadu Lohar to play the female lead in this film, which has AR Rahman composing the music. Radikaa will be playing the role of Simbu’s mother in this rural action drama, whose story has been written by acclaimed writer Jeyamohan.
