In  Jammu & Kashmir’s Kulgam district ,  it’s the  second day of Anti – terror operation today . After an encounter with the security forces , five militants were shot down . Through a post, the Kashmir Zone Police said “Kulgam Update – Day 2: Five #terrorists neutralized by Kulgam Police, Army, and CRPF. #Incriminating materials recovered. #Operation in final stage; area being sanitized”. There was a night long lull at Nehama area of Kulgam in Samno on Thursday night. After that on early Friday gunshots were exchanged . The officials said once they got information about the militant’s presence a cordon and search operations was launched in Nehama village by the security forces. They further added that  security personnel had to face firing by the militants. When the militants started firing the scene turned into a gunbattle. The entire operations was suspended overnight . On the other hand militants were trapped and a tight cordon was maintained in the locality by the security forces.
