Sasikumar who started his cinema journey as a director changed gears and tried his hands on acting instead. Eventually, his directorial career took a back seat. Therefore, there have been many requests from fans and stars to Sasikumar to direct a film. It seems the actor has now decided to think upon the request by his fans and accordingly, he is in plans to direct the controversial ‘Kuttra Parambarai’.

A few years ago, there was a rift between directors Bala and Bharathiraja over directing the ‘Kutra Parambarai’ story, which was written by Vela Ramamoorthy. Bharathiraja and Bala shared some harsh words, and it stirred up controversy in Kollywood. But both didn’t proceed further after a month of dispute, and the film on ‘Kutra Parambarai’ was shelved. Now, Sasi Kumar has reportedly decided to direct a film based on the ‘Kutra Parambarai’ story, which was written by Vela Ramamoorthy. Sasikumar will also be reportedly playing the lead role in his directorial return, and the official announcement will be made soon.

However, let’s wait to see how Bala or Bharathiraja reacts to Sasikumar’s plan of a film on ‘Kutra Parambarai’, as he shares a great friendship with both the stars. Sasikumar shared screen space with Bharathiraja in the film ‘Kennedy Club’, and he had also played the lead role in Bala’s directorial ‘Thara Thappattai’.
