Gaja storm: Vedaranyam affected heavily

Due to the gaja storm, Vedaranyam and surrounding villages has been severely damaged.

In Vedaranyam, trees are broken down in the streets. All of the batteries are completely shut down. Without the power supplies, it is drowning in darkness.

Farmers have suffered huge losses due to the fall of the crops such as coconut, mango, jasmine and cashew trees in the agricultural lands around Vedaranyam.
