All India Institute of Medical Science, AIIMS PG 2021 postponed today, on June 11, 2021. It was earlier scheduled to be held on June 16, 2021. However, the Supreme Court today has directed AIIMS to postpone the examination at least by one month.

The decision on AIIMS PG 2021 postponement was taken keeping in view the prevailing COVID 19 situation in the country and the safety of the students. Earlier, doctors across the country have filed to petitions on the postponement of AIIMS INI CET 2021 examinations.

The Supreme Court bench headed by Justice Indira Banerjee and Justice MR Shah said, “Considering that the candidates have been rendering COVID 19 duties far away from centres chosen. Also, due to the inadequate time for preparation of AIIMS PG 2021, we are of view that fixation of date on June 16th is arbitrary. We direct AIIMS to postpone the PG examination by one month. ”

The plea was filed by the India Medical Association, Medical Student Network along with 35 serving doctors before the apex court. The PIL was filed challenging the conduct of AIIMS PG 2021 examination. On June 9, 2021, AIIMS had also issued the admit card for the examination.
