Malayalam Superstar Mammooty and his son Dulquer Salmaan are both celebrated names in Mollywood. The filmy family made news last year when they moved to a new place in Kochi. For the unversed, Mammooty and son Dulquer own a plush villa in Kadavanthara, Kochi, where they both reside with their entire family.

It has been just a year since they moved to this new property. Just before the lockdown last year, they held a house warming ceremony with closed family and friends. Though we could see some glimpses of their house in some of the posts the actors made on their Instagram, an aerial view picture of the house went viral on the internet during the lockdown last year.

As per reports, this beautiful house was designed by Dulquer’s wife Amaal Sufiya, who is an architect and an interior designer by profession. A lot of things are visible in the aerial view picture. One could see a fleet of luxury cars parked outside. The house is surrounded by tropical trees and a series of solar panels are placed on the roofs. Reports claim that the cost of this property is Rs 4 crores.

There is a sit-out area in the house covered. Mammootty once shared a picture from his residence where the actor was seen performing one of his favourite hobby – photography. Mamukka shared a picture of a bird that he shot in his DSLR. The surroundings of that sit-out look serene and mesmerizing. 

Another picture was shared by the Malayalam superstar is where he can be seen sitting on an elegant sofa wearing simple attire. From the picture, one could assume that it is the living room of the posh villa. The house seems to be painted in shades of white, whereas the curtains and the furniture are in dark shades like browns.

Dulquer Salmaan, on the other side, shared a plot of pictures during the lockdown. In one of the pictures that he shared along with his daughter Maryam while wishing her a happy birthday, we could see them sitting on a cushion sofa. The room is covered by dull white curtains and similarly toned walls. 

Dulquer shared this picture last May on Maryam‘s birthday, and wrote, “ You’ve got every one of us acting your age while you insist, “I’m a big girl now!” Maybe you’re right. You’re fast growing up, speaking in full sentences now. Slow down darling Marie, be a baby still. Like the day we saw you for the first time..” 

During the lockdown, most of the actors turned cooks, and Durlquer was not an exception. He shared a picture from their kitchen while he was preparing a dish. He had also shared a picture of their TV set on which he was watching the famous The Mandalorian television series.

Dulquer also shared a special video that explored some more interiors of the Kochi house. 

Dulquer is a book lover and an automobile enthusiast, the picture of the bookshelf that he had shared is itself proof of it.  

The house reportedly has a gym or workout area. Actor Mammootty shared a workout picture last year during lockdown with a caption. “ Work at Home! Work from Home! Home Work! No other Work So Work Out ! “ and the picture, as usual, didn’t fail to storm the internet.

Dulquer also shared a picture along with his pet pooch, Honey, while he was sitting on a couch. The room had a bright coloured couch with a patterned carpet.

On their work front,  both Mammootty and Dulquer are busy with a couple of films lined up. Dulquer Salmaan has Kurup, Salute, and Hey Sinamika in the post-production, and his Telugu film Yuddham Tho Rasina Prema Katha’s shoot is in progress. The team will resume shoot post this lockdown.

On the other hand, Mammootty’s Bheeshma Parvam film shoot is in progress, and just a few months back, his much-awaited political film One got released.
