In Maharashtra police action was taken against a 29- year-old man related to whatsapp . He was from Vashi. He had for his whatsapp status  a photo of Aurangzeb . A stranger had taken a screenshot and made it viral . It was the screenshot of Aurangzeb that was clicked. These details were provided by police.  A  right wing group activist received the screenshot. The accused was traced  and was handed over to the police. A complaint was also registered. “Recently, communal clashes had erupted in Ahmednagar, Sambhaji Nagar and Kolhapur over the issue of posting Aurangzeb’s photo. At such time, the accused has posted a photo of Aurangzeb as his WhatsApp status, in order to disturb the communal harmony in Navi Mumbai, and also by trying to create discord between the two communities and to disturb the public peace. Hence an FIR has been registered against him,” a police officer said. The officer also added the accused is yet to be arrested and a notice has been issued to him. Further probe is on.”  He has been booked under two sections of Indian Penal code . One is 298 ((malicious and deliberate intention to hurt the religious sentiments of others)  and the other one is for promoting enmity under section 153A
